Funding

A community foundation lives from many donors who contribute larger or smaller amounts to increase the foundation's capital. The foundation's capital is invested profitably, but conservatively, and is preserved in perpetuity. The income from the investments is available for the realisation of the foundation's purposes.

Even in the current low-interest phase, it makes sense to increase the foundation's capital, because as a foundation we invest our capital for the long term and pay attention to a good balance between profit and security of the investments.

Do you like the idea that your donation is not used up as a donation, but invested in perpetuity? Then make a sub-foundation!
