The SaalePUTZ is a joint action of Bürgerstiftung Jena and its project, the Freiwilligenagentur Jena, several local associations and the city of Jena.
Every spring we call on volunteers - and usually more than 500 people come together - to clean the Saale of rubbish along various stretches of the river. You can register here on the website and the community foundation provides the materials (buckets, gloves, etc.) and, in cooperation with the KSJ, takes care of the removal of the rubbish.
We have now closed registration after well over 300 people have already registered at the sections.
Still feel like doing something? Grab a trash bag and collect in your neighborhood! You can dispose of your collected trash until 1 p.m. on April 1 at the container locations (parking lot at Gries, parking lot behind the Paradiesbahnhof, Burgauer Wehr, Lichtenhainer Brücke, pedestrian bridge Lobeda)!
Remember weatherproof clothing, gloves and buckets for collection!
A section that is not yet very full and where you can spontaneously join is Maua: meeting point is 10 am at the parking lot Rabenschüssel! Just come there (do not forget gloves, buckets and if available grabs)!
