The baby is here, the joy is enormous - and nothing works anymore. It's good when family and friends help you cope with the stress of having a baby. If you don't have any help, you can get it from wellcome.
The first months after the birth of a child are a special challenge for all parents. The baby cries, the sibling is jealous, no one shops and the worried father has no more parental leave. Those who don't have help from family or friends get it from wellcome.
wellcome provides practical and unbureaucratic help for some time during the first year of your child's life. A volunteer comes to your home once or twice a week for two to three hours and relieves you as you need it.
For the placement of volunteers we charge a one-time placement fee of ten euros. For the wellcome service at your home, we charge up to five euros per hour. But the help must not fail because of money, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
As a wellcome volunteer, you support families after the birth of a baby. For a few months, once or twice a week, you provide individual and practical support for parents in their daily lives at home, just as family, friends or neighbours normally do.
If you can give something, we would be happy to receive a donation. This helps us to support other parents as well.

As a mother of four, I know exactly how much a young family needs help. Now that three of my children are out of the house, I have some spare time that I would like to donate to the wellcome project and to families who need our help.

Would you like support from wellcome or would you like to support wellcome with voluntary work or as a cooperation partner?
Get in touch with me, I'm happy to be there for you!
Offering support to new parents and helping them in their everyday life with a newborn or small child...the idea of Wellcome is a successful addition to existing services for Jena and its parents. It's great when we can refer families to the community foundation and offer help in this way.
